Quoting the Associated Press, Roger had a comfortable 6-3 6-4 win today with a flurry of spectacular winners. With the win, it is Roger’s 755th match win on tour, tying Ilie Nastase for 8th most match wins in the Open Era. Next up for Federer is a night match tomorrow against Sergiy Stakhovsky.
