The season, the year. 2014 draws to a close and 2015 marks a fresh beginning. With another freestyle video, Roger Federer 2014 Blitz brings the entire 2014 ATP World Tour season in photos for the Swiss maestro, from his first appearance at the Brisbane International, to lifting a first Davis Cup title for Switzerland. It was a resurgent Federer we witnessed, who at 33 finished the year as world #2, and that too, marginally shy from world #1.
Federer won five titles in 2014, winning his sixth title in Dubai, seventh in Halle, sixth in Cincinnati, and first in Shanghai (as a Masters 1000). The 17-time grand slam champion eclipsed a 73-12 record, with the most wins on tour. He is just four wins away from 1000 for his career, a feat he can reach in Australia to kick off his 2015 season (Brisbane International, starting January 4).
