No shocking and awkward loss after being up 2 sets to love this time. For the 8th straight year, Federer is into the US Open semifinals after defeating dangerous Frenchman, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in straight sets, 6-4 6-3 6-3. The match began under the lights as scheduled. Roger took the early break before play was suspended with light precipitation falling on court. When play resumed, the Swiss maestro looked a bit slow to find his rhythm but quickly changed that as he broke the Frenchman several times. Before you knew it, it was over. Beautiful tennis from Roger Federer again and he continues to amaze the world with what he can do on a tennis court.
